Hi! I’m Jim Cloutier, construction veteran, homeowner advocate, and your personal building advisor. I’ve spent the last 47 years working in the construction industry- swinging hammers, running crews, managing projects, and negotiating with everyone from subcontractors to city inspectors. I’ve worked on everything from small remodels to large-scale new builds. Ive been in the trenches, on the roofs, and in the meetings where real decisions get made. Over the years I’ve started to notice a pattern… Homeowners were often overwhelmed, confused, or flat-out mislead. They didn’t understand the contracts they were signing. They didn’t know which bid to trust. They felt stuck when things went sideways mid-project. And far too often, they paid the price- LITERALLY!
